Sheek Treats is a mother-daughters team that got its start in 2011 to provide healthy pet treats with no chemicals or preservatives. Most ingredients are sourced from a 2-3 acre plot in Carter County, including the mint, lavender, and catnip used in their cat treats. Before TDA removed the requirement for domestic kitchens to be inspected in 2017, Sheek Treats was a licensed domestic kitchen; they have also possessed a facility feed license since 2012. In the next few years, Sheek Treats hopes to add a line of organic products to their current treat offerings.

Sheek Treats is a woman-owned business that sources local or grows ingredients whenever possible. No chemicals, dyes, or preservatives are included in their pet treats. Sheek Treats bakes in small batches, and products are available in small, convenient size bags; larger jars; or by the pound.
