Thank you for your interest in selling with Jonesborough Farmers Market and/or Boone Street Market! All products proposed for sale must be grown, raised, produced, processed, and/or created by you (the vendor) or your direct employees.  Absolutely NO reselling is allowed. Priority is given to vendors located within 100 miles of Jonesborough, TN.

Please see our JLG VENDOR HANDBOOK for the complete regulations and policies for our markets.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

1. Read over the JLG Vendor Handbook (linked above) to ensure your business is in compliance with our policies at Jonesborough Farmers Market and Boone Street Market.

If you have any questions or would like to see if your product(s) would be a good fit before applying, please contact us at jlg@jonesboroughlocallygrown.org.

2. Fill out the vendor application Google Form, linked below. Jonesborough Farmers Market allows food and craft vendors, with priority given to farmers/agricultural and food vendors. Boone Street Market allows the sale of food products only. The Winter Farmers Market allows both food and crafts, and priority is given to summer JFM vendors and current BSM vendors before new applicants. Vendors who sold at JFM in 2024 must reapply to sell in 2025.

Boone Street Market applications are reviewed as they are received. As of 12/17/2024, we are currently full or limited on space for these products: (1) frozen meats (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc.); (2) bread. Please contact us at jlg@jonesboroughlocallygrown.org to see if there is room for your product before applying and paying the application fee.

New vendor applications for the 2025 summer season of Jonesborough Farmers Market will be reviewed as they received, but a decision about market space may not be made until February or March 2025 (Please note: completed applications does not guarantee you a space at the market). We will have a vendor information meeting in March 2025, and attendance of that meeting does not guarantee you a space at the market.

3. Pay the $25 application fee. If you are a returning vendor and sold with JLG markets in 2024, you are not required to pay the fee. This fee is non-refundable and is one-time as long as you sell at one or more markets per year. Fee payment does not guarantee you a space at any market.

4. Email certifications and permits relevant to your business at jlg@jonesboroughlocallygrown.org. More information is on the application form. These certifications and permits may include, but are not limited to, a TDA retail meat sales permit, nursery permit, approval to manufacture in a commercial kitchen, etc.

5. Wait to hear from Jonesborough Locally Grown staff about application status. You will be notified of your application status via email.

Not all applications are guaranteed for approval. Note: your application will not be processed until the application form, applicable fee, and relevant certifications/permits have been received.

Please allow two weeks for your application to be processed and to receive notification of the status. For more information, contact us at jlg@jonesboroughlocallygrown.org

Please note: Jonesborough Locally Grown only accepts vendors that grow, raise, or make the product sold. Absolutely NO reselling is allowed and those applications will be denied.
