Serenity Knoll Farm
Jonesborough, Tennessee
More Information On This Vendor
Serenity Knoll Farm sits on 10 acres of land, half of which is wooded. They grow a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers to Certified Naturally Grown standards. One acre of land is currently cultivated with a 16’ x 24’ greenhouse, multiple aeroponic tower gardens for year-round production, and a high tunnel. Crops are irrigated using UV-filtered well water for the safest possible produce. Serenity Knoll composts all of their food scraps, plants, grass cuttings, and leaves. One staff and a variety of volunteers help the owner make the farm possible.
Serenity Knoll is not just a farm - they have a commercial kitchen with a cooking school and an event pavilion. The cooking school uses primarily farm-grown ingredients. Overnight-stay cabins are coming soon, hoping to make Serenity Knoll the complete farm stay package.
“I wanted to be part of the local food system, so I bought some land and started a farm and cooking school. I have a passion for growing food chemical-free and teaching people how to cook. Buying from local producers to not only gets you a better quality product and supports local farms, but reduces transportation costs as well.” -David Wiley, owner/operator
